that would be my car, it's a good deal faster and quicker now, and still not as quick as MPH indicates it should be... needs driver mod

Is that price right? An additional $30K? Wow. Must be a nice ride.

Only one was made, and since it runs mid 12's making a sick exhaust note, yes its a nice ride IMO, but ill let him speak :D

That's what they were charging for it. The owner of VT ended up using it himself, and I bought it with 9K miles on the clock. So I didn't pay full tilt by any means.

Your car is the only Marauder they did isn't it?

The one and only. VT changed hands, went out of business, re-opened. Now there is VT in Canada, which is different from the VT that existed in the day this car was developed. And there is VT Competition Engine Development in the US. VTCED has some of the former employees of VT.

Yup it's the only one they built. VTCED now is basically the VT that existed when the car was built, same building, there were originally only 2 builders, one is still there, heck pops might be back, I haven't stopped over there in about a month even though I live accross the street... it's cold outside

Was there any special exterior badging done like on the Kenny Brown cars?

Other than the 19" forged Budnik wheels nothing else. That was the only way to know what it is when parked, unless the hood was open, the paxton is pretty obvious, and the valve cover is labed with VT competetion engine development.

Now though, it has wide rear tires, a VT decal on the rear window, supercharged marauder god's head emblems, and the two gauges on the pillar are pretty obvious. Still nothing noticable to the general population I don't think

I remember a Marauder for sale in Texas a few years back that had a VT logo on the trunk. It did not have all the mods, as The VT Marauder but I always wondered if it had a built motor or a stroker and the car just got traded in before the owner could finish it with a blower or whatever.

Yeah,
That was me.

The motor grenaded after a bad install of parts, dearer killed my warrenty, so had VT rebuild it.

Ran the bastage hard for 3 more years and between raising fuel costs, lowering income, some thing had to give.
