The light blue covers on the gauge pod lights are there to make the relatively yellow light from the small incandescent bulbs look "whiter".

Do a search for "window switch lights" or something like that. There is a long very detailed thread on how to fix those.

Nevermind...I found it for you...HERE (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=37918&highlight=window+switch+lights )

Are you aware that the OEM oil pressure gauge is a fake?

Friendly tip...learn to use punctuation...it makes your post easier to understand if it isn't one long run-on sentence.

Thanks for the info and yes i know that the oil pressure gauge is fake and its a big let down from ford:bigcry: they could have spent the extra money and done it right im just not sure i want to take the time and fix it. I have spent alot of money already on getting the car to where i want it with the 4:10 gears, disabling the TC, chip and everything else but how much money does it cost to convert to the real gauge

how much money does it cost to convert to the real gaugeThe complete gauge kit, which includes a new gauge and a new sender (both are required) is about $60 from Dennis or Wes and takes a bit over an hour of your time.
