Could it be that you put a crappy tune on it? There is a lot that goes on to a short block that can take the short block down.

Uhhh no. It failed almost immediately. He was not a lot of help, but if I wanted to pull and disassemble the motor and spend another 500 in shipping, he would have looked at it.
I agree, it appears that he does stand behind most of the stuff, but I guess I wasn't local and not a mustang. The problem was in the build and Al Papito diagnosed it over the phone, unfortunatley he was correct, as I found when I tore it down. I would not recommend buying a block from him if you are not a local boy, but that is just my opinion.
