Check out this stroker kit. I'm sure that would really help our torque issue, but it's $3500. Any clues as to what it the labor costs of the install may be??

Drop a note to Mad-3R, he just completed this upgrade, installed by VT at their Lansing MI. facility.

I saw an artical in motor trend about the marauder VT, and i saw that it sayed that they worked with lincoln/mercury. Does anyone know if this kit would void the warrenty and how much it costs?

Yeah...I think your factory engine warranty is in a toilet somewhere south and west of Lansing MI.

However, once you buy this VT upgrade, what makes you think you'll need a warranty on your engine?

TPbandit - Welcome to the site. As for voiding the warranty FMC will look for any reason to do so if you have a problem.. IHHO.:(

Stroker? What storoker? I don't se any stroker here. I dare you to look at my engine and tell me it has a stroker, or thats it's not stock. What? You saw a dyno run of this car and it put 275 to the rear? nope, not this one. Oh, it was this car....uhmmm...

Ok, you got me.

The stroker I have is, in a word, awsome. At 70 MPH, I'm turning 2500 rpm's (or there about.) On Interstate driving, it gets over 20 mpg still, and thats with out Cruise Control, and a couple of 90+ blasts up I77 in NC. Is it worth the money? Hell yes!! If your warrenty is shot to hel anyway, all I can say is go for it. And the tune from fordchips is worth it all.

Okay, but the moment we spot dents in your valve covers from getting hit by the tops of the pistons, I'm calling your bluff...
