Seen this on Ebay and I questioned how it mounts and what it looks like with no response yet.
eBay Motors: 2003 2004 Mercury Marauder Bumper Air Diffuser Body Kit (item 350025331467 end time Feb-19-08 20:07:16 PST) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350025331467&_trksid=p2759.l1259)
The item is in Fresh Meadows NY which is almost walking distance from my place.

Looks like crap, probably does little to nothing.
You need to cut a decent size hole in your bumper and mount these things over it.
Waste of time.... waste of money.... waste of a Marauder

Proguard diverts the air from going up catching in the bumper.

Proguard is excellent, give the bumper support it needs.

I like mine, I haven't noticed any improvment but, it cleaned up the back of the car nicely.

Response from seller....
It attaches right over the rear bumper after openings are made in the location you plan to install with the included mounting bolts that go through the bumper and tighten from the inside. All photos we have are shown in auction.
So basically you have to cut and drill through the bumper cover which is expensive and very hard to find to install this $100 ricer looking crap which does nothing for you.
Put me down for 2 sets please.

Installation picture of the Vette looks like it was photo-chopped with Microsoft Paint...nobody in their RIGHT MIND would throw them on anything with four wheels...
How much you wanna bet the location of the "install" on that Vette is obstructed and no air even gets up there...

The ONLY thing that those hideous pieces of chrome crap diffuse is 65 dollars from your wallet!
:puke:
BTW: Thank goodness that they are CNC machined from billet T6061 Aluminum*, as I would not consider buying them if they were simply stamped out of sheet aluminum.
Now......:hmmm: WHAT IF he could machine the GODSHEAD logo in the center instead of the 'felix the cat' logo....?....:hmmm:
*If they are really CNC machined billet, that guy should be shot for wasting valuable CNC time AND billet aluminum!
First one to get one on their marauder gets an ass whipping.

Street cars do not compare with F1 cars.
Spoilers on street car for instance create lift on the rear of the car, spoilers on F1 create downforce. Alot of downforce. 2 tons+ of it.
Diffusers may work wonders for F1 cars, but for street cars, unless you have it as a track car only, they will make little if any difference.
They may work to blow the stuffy air out of your trunk though.
