Stupid ques, how to adjust hdlites??

Yea, my manual is on loan to a friend and I have not studied the lites too much, does someone know how to adjust these head lights?? Too high now with rear lowered.

The headlight adjusters are just in front of the hood bumpers (stops) and use a 4mm socket. This will adjust the lamps in the vertical plane (CW for down, CCW for up). There is no horizontal adjustment.

Thanks RF...Tom and I were just talking about that the other night at dinner. After installing the Eibach springs...a headlight adjustment is most likely in order.

Is the adjustment the same for Crown Vics? My 01 Interceptor just got new headlights and they are a bit low. I see those plastic screws on the threaded rods that clip them into place. Do you adjust these in and out to get proper placement. I couldnt find any 4mm adjustment on mine.

I thought the *only* adjustment was horiz and there was not need for vertical adj??

I could be wrong but thought that's what I read.

Nope...it's the other way 'round...vertical adjustment only...it's in the owner's manual...I don't have it handy to reference the page number...

I would a$$ume the 2003 CVPI would be the same, but I can't comment on an '01...the adjustment may have changed with the other "upgrades"...
