i would like to see some more pics of spoilers... im considering putting one on the MM. i have seen them on the cars, but not in person. so i was wondering if i can see some more to get more ideas of the size and how far it hangs out.
how does it mount? is it screwed or bolted on? or is it stick on?
(edit. im talking about the factory one)

There are two types...stick on...and bolt on...
Those who prefer to keep thier trunk lid a virgin, go with the stick on...
Those who desire the confindence that it will not fall off, go with the bolt on...
Theres some good pics that convinced me to get one, search "spoiler"

An MM without the wing, basically looks like a grand marquis with blinged out rims. I see them occasionally and cringe. Especially if it is one of the "colored" mm's without a wing. Wing, is not optional. Here's mine:

I purchased my car without the spoiler. I figured I would leave it stock looking. I've done a couple things to the car...I just don't feel hacking into the car would be worth the hassle for a wing.

Here is my Ford spoiler mounted the way the factory intended directly to the trunk lid. If we get a chance to get together this year you can check it out in person. I like it ALOT and it helps to extend the length and flow of the car in profile view.

Talk with Zack. Steve is right. He has said never again but you never know. It won't be cheap. I have it wired to flash rapidly 5 times when applying the brake if it has been over 15 seconds since the last application of the brakes. Part of the self defense system along with the operational lower brake light pods to help make up for loss of brake lights due to the S-55 treatment of the rear lights. Also and of no small consideration is the senior citizen "nap time is anytime" even behind the wheel here in AARP nation.:D
Dave, many people say I am better looking going than coming. Same may be true of the FruitPunch, cept when I have the 466 Swarovski crystal grill in.:rolleyes:Dennis ... This is Fordnut's spoiler (http://http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=28607&highlight=Roush+spoiler).
It's was made by Roush. No longer in production. It's the one I wanted. Guess I'll settle for OEM, unless Zack is making blingin spoilers again. Though I already know the answer to that. Too labor intensive.

A friend in Highschool had one of those snap on spoilers for his rabbit, it looked very good but everytime he went around a corner to fast it would fly off.
Just make sure you can see it when you are looking in your rear view mirror, then you will not have to guess how close you are to the pole column car truck etc... you are just before you hit it.

Eric91Z and SID210SA I must paint my lights like yours now. I have been thinking about it for awhile after seeing a blue MM with it done. I just wasn't sure about the silver. Now that I have seen your 2 cars I love it and must do it now to my silver beast. Does it effect the visibility of the brake lights much? Did you happen to paint the front grill also? That is the other piece I want painted to match. Sorry to go off track.

Wow, this is interesting. Anyone else notice the more subtle s55 treatment here? The reverse lamps are noticeable, but the taillamps seem to be slightly tinted..Looks better than the straight up body color deep s55 painting. Dunno bout that spoiler tho.
