Does anyone know where to find the FLM underbody lighting kit that was available up until a couple of years ago? I am not too keen on the aftermarket ones but if someone has had a good experience with the aftermarket I would be willing since it is so difficult to get the factory option.

Definately ask Hotrauder about his very nice copy of oem.

However, I have an unopened original Ford underbody light kit for the Marauder in the classified section somewhere.

There used to be an underbody 'valet' lighting kit available from Ford for the Vics, Marquis', and Marauders.

Similar to what many SUV's have on their rear view mirrors underneath that light the ground area when you unlock your yours.

This kit however mounts underbody.
Very nice it was.
Since discontinued.

I think it would be cool....I wanna put Blue lights under mine...I already have some in the interior...

....Well I could have swore I listed it here.

Perhaps it got lost when the original Classifieds got broken down into subcatergories.

I think I was asking wholesale, $160 + free shipping.

I figured if it did not sell this winter, I would put it on this spring.
I am not really raising funds any longer, and I really like the mod.

Keep it to "wanting" unless you are only going to show off at shows.
Blue lights in any fashion are very illegal on civilian cars across the 50 states.

I was pulled over and cited for blue fog lamps years ago when I was in the service.

Shakes' underbody light kit is great! I think they are better then OEM and have great instructions. My lights looks super at night.

I have the one from Marauder Concepts. It is a VERY good quality kit and install was well documented. I love it. I get more comments on it than almost any other single thing on my car (including turbo, custom hood, etc..)

It is very tasteful. It is nothing like the neon underbody lights. Just a little light to illuminate the ground under both sets of doors.

and buy a Japanese import. Zipper cars are used to being pimp'd out.

Check it out first before opening yer yap. I have the OEM kit on mine and it looks nice... not ricey at all.

I got Marc's kit on mine too.
It works excellent to light up under the car when you open the door or hit the unlock button.
It's not a drive around with light kit by any means.
If you're looking for neon kits... Ebay.
Use them at shows I suppose....

If you turn on your cabin lights (spin the dashboard back lights knob all the up), it turns on the underbody lights too. Same circuit. :P

I don't do "bling" (audacious) or tuner. I respect the beauty of this car and any thing that I do this car is done with taste and class!

I got the kit from Shakes as well, and finally got around to installing it last year. Works great. Had to work around the brake lines a bit, so one mounting plate is angled a bit, but so what. Drilled and tapped the mounting holes as suggested.

Also setup mine so they can be on when the car is running, but just make sure the car isn't moving with them on. (Use the map lights if driving and need light instead of the main cabin light control.)

Only question is how to replace a bulb when they eventually go, as they are sealed units. Hopefully replacement bulbs are available. (?)

Also don't know anything about the door handles or cup holder offerings. I'll have to check that out.
