Shipping weight approximately 500 lbsI have been thinking about my engine noise, I thought it was valvetrain-related, but several local mechanics think its piston pin or piston slap in nature. so I was thinking about what to do about it, and this pops up on the back cover of Hot Rod Magazine. looks good to me, I was wondering if the engine would even fit, if its intended for a mustang with manual trans?
$6700 is a bit steep for my current budget, but its an option I suppose. my car runs great, but the noise is embarassing.

W/ a core you can get a Ford Reman Marauder long block for $4,200 list.

A 25% discount is possible. It has a 3yr/75K warr.

If someone were to gut the stock shortblock and put forged internals in what kind of horsepower do you think it could withstand?

900 HP has been done on a number of Mustangs. I don't know how durable.

More than 900 HP and many say the Teksid block is needed.
