Hey John, I got a video of your 1/8th mile burnout / 1/8th mile run from my crappy digital camera. I'll post it when I get home this evening.

Yep. That was definitely weird looking. An almost EXACTLY 1/8 mile 1 wheel peel. You'll get into the 11's with that fixed. Obviously those Hoosiers hold, since Tom did so well with them.

The car seemed to run great. A locked diff should make a WORLD of difference.

Are there any downsides to the locked diff? Will turning corners alot be bad with a locked diff? I'm just trying to understand

Go HERE (http://www.eaton.com/EatonCom/ProductsServices/PerformanceProducts/Products/Differentials/index.htm) my young paduan and learn of these things you will....

It DOES allow minimal wheel speed differences due to turning, but is LOCKED when the torque comes to town.

At 66K and 6K supercharged, my diff seems to work exactly as it should. Right wheel breaks, left side pulls, car slides about 4" left, left breaks, both work hard at finding the grip and away I go. It does this from stop from 1st gear roll and from downshift.

I honestly and truly believe the RedLine diff fluid has helped and continues to help this diff keep going like it should.

11.97? You left WAY more than 2.5 tenths on the right side of that lane. I predict a mid 11.7 with a locker, full bottle, traction and good weather.
