i noticed today that the tail shaft was leaking a little fluid after yesterday at the track. ilost about a 1/2 quart on the way home yesterday. i will be contacting bc automotive tomorrow about a new tailshaft with the lube tube so that this wont happen again.:depress:

Hey, since you have the DS unbolted for that, put in a loop while you're at it. Safety first!!!

You are doing things backward.

You need to swap the driveshaft first, or else you will trash your new tailshaft.

What Zack said JJ. Or at least have it checked for proper balance and make sure it is not bent in any way. They can bend. A friend of mine DS got bent and it cost him a transmission.

I got the 6061 from DR. It's been on the car for over 25K and has never been anything but good. It's cheaper than and easier available than MMX.

And just exactly how fast were you driving on the trip over on the Alley ? ? ? Did we do any extended one-thirty bursts on the way?
