Good Evening,
Have owned Crown Vics for 4 years and it is time to move up. Loved my 1996 Police Interceptor and hated my 2003 LX Sport. That '03 required an LCM, radio, new paint, new driver's seat, two window motors, and the A-Arm bolt nuts replaced all under 40K!!! So, are there any issues to watch in an '03 MM at 31K?
Caughts some threads on AC vents, rear axles, and the radio here.
Thanks,
Randy
Randy, welcome aboard! Re-read your post for warnings. They are the same car and share the same blights and issues. But just like anything, one may be flawless and the next flawed. One fast, one not quite so fast. One item that might set them apart is the head-tick (cam followers on the Driver's-side cams) and the blue smoke on start-up. Just remember, this car is made to be driven just like your current car and probably has been. Since you know what to expect, you should go for it. The last car was a disappointment, therefore the next will look rosy!
Best luck,
JMan

Welcome Aboard.
I could run an OASIS report on the MM that interests you and see if any of those parts have been replaced. PM the VIN please.

Don't want to burst your bubble but I just had a Light Control Module put in my 03 Marauder two weeks ago. Last summer it was the A-Arms. Radio works fine, though!

Modding, it is a sickness you will catch and you will have to improve your Marauder more and more.
See the other members signatures.
Said sickness will effect you reguardless of age and comes in all flavours.
Audio
Performance
Wheels
Video
Accessories
Handling
Tires
and culminates in Super Chargers.
Each step takes you one step closer to the ultimate ride, and the Marauder can handle and even excels in the acceptance of these MODS.
You will find you are replacing parts and upgrading to new ones but not out of need to fix something rather need for speed.
It is a sickness Marauder owners all catch and never goes away, but a sickness we all are happy to have, that makes us happy and is only missed if we lose a Marauder do to accident or the like, but quickly replaced with another.
