I did a search on plenums but didnt get too many results. My question is if I bought a brand new from the factory plenum and ported and polished it, would I see any gains? Thanks for any input.

On an N/A car VERY little. Would hardly be worth the cost.

I had my upper and lower intake Extrude-honed.

Both pieces came back ported, smooth and shiny...though I can't vouch for any HP improvements.
I installed the ported intake along with a PHP plenum spacer on my new engine, so any before & after HP comparisons are useless.

Any reason why it would not add hp?

It is said we have one of the best flowing intakes that Ford has ever made, therefore "modifying" the intake wouldn't net you much if any. People just get blown or juiced.

What would be the Torque specs for the intake Plenum, if any?

Upper intake is 89 in/lbs...

There is a sequence for removing and installing the bolts!
