I found a black 03 300b at ABC auto parts in blue island, illinois. It was hit in the front & left side. It still has the engine/trans/rearend/exhaust. The front seats/dash/console/shifter/overhead console are all still in it also. The rear seat is crushed on the drivers side lower cushion from the accident. The steering wheel looks okay besides the blown air bag. I didn't check the miles on the odometer. They wanted $125 for the left dot matrix dash piece so i passed on that. The right piece has a small scratch in it. Just thought i'd let you all know it's there.

Can you get me the VIN? I'll add it to the list as totalled.

How many confirmed kills do you have documented so far?

Not too many. I know a site that has the VINs to those that are totalled. I'll make a note of those, too.

Sorry brian, I didn't get the vin. It was way to cold to fully check the car out.

Get the interior from a LX sport. That's what I did for my '93. It's cheaper just because it's not a Marauder.

Same here, bought a complete interior for 600.00. Included everything from headliner to carpet and door panels.

I need the guage pod in the center of the dash, the guages would be a bonus too. Can you help me out in acquiring it?

Thanks,

It did not have the gauge pod in it. It was missing the radio & a/c control panel also. The front seats looked okay, but they have been exposed to the weather due to the left window being down & the right door missing.

ts-pa,if you can live without the Marauder godshead on the seatbacks I'd say the CVLX interior would be a wiser choice.
I don't think there is a logo on the CVLX seat backs ,is there?

I appreciate the suggestions of the CV Sport seats (http://www.cardotcom.com/cars/images02/06crown-victoria-inter.jpg).

My desire for MM seats (http://www.familycar.com/RoadTests/MercuryMarauder/Images/FrontSeats.jpg)has absolutely nothing to do with the a desire for the godshead logo. In fact, I would like them fine without it.

As you can see the differences in the two photos;
MM have deeper side bolsters for more support.
Vertical perforated pleated seating areas, a look that I really like.

It has been a while since I looked into interiors, but wouldnt it be cheaper to get the current seats bolstered higer and wrapped with better leather? Hell you can probably get your name thrown on too!!

I got a 40/60 split bench, great if you want to lay down on it. Otherwise, I slid all over the place. I guess I drive too aggressive?

If I'm going to go through the trouble of replacing, I'll go for what I want once.

gotcha...then you are stuck.

If I would have done it different I think I would have went with the bench as I miss the column shifter like crazy.

Are you thinking about changing it to a floor shift. It'll look better with buckets, and besides floor shifts are "cooler"

Even with seat belts, which are always on, I still move around too much.

If I owned a MM, GM LSE or CV sport with a shift on the console, that would be cool. I'm not too concerned about changing to the floor shift though. I will install a basic console to fill in the gap.

Then the only other option is to start eating. I guess that is why I stay put in the seat or maybe it's because I have cloth seats. ;)
