New tires will be put on tom. morning 255/55/zr18 (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=General&tireModel=Grabber+UHP&vehicleSearch=false&partnum=555WR8GRUHPXL&fromCompare1=yes&place=3) I would have liked to have picked up some KDW-2s for the rears but they don't make them. These looked interesting and even though they are for sport truck and suv I think it's safe to say our tubby rides can fall into that category weight wise.

I just had them installed. I think the sidewalls are a little firmer on these than the KDWS. I'm going to do a 5 hour road trip tomorrow so I will probably have a bit more feedback tomorrow.

Well I drove up to Gainesville and the tires are working fine. They are quiet and the ride is good. So far I'm pleased with the tire.

I have done a bit more driving with them and I really like them, the car feels a bit more responsive in the steering and I guess thats the tread design. On the highway they are smooth and quiet.

so what have you guys been buying to mount in the car? do you video to the rear or out the front window, when in traffic. i assume the front for driving on a road course. make:model:price:mounting gear???
