Marauder Wanted in Chicago Area

Hello,

I am a previous Mercury Marauder owner. After MUCH dedication to saving up and finding the perfect one, I did in October of 2005. It was a Black 2004 with 20k miles on it with the moonroof and rear spoiler. Unfortunately, after putting it away for the winter and bringing it out in the spring, it was stolen from right in front of my Fiancee's home. I was devistated to say the least. I have moved since then and am now back in the market for one. I have no real request when it comes to mileage or color. I just ask you be truthful about the care you have given the car such as oil changes, tire rotation, etc. My neighbor has one of the first 2003 Marauders ever made. He currently has 5500 miles on it. My chances of toping him are slim to none, but I could live with that. Anyone who can help me with this, please post or send me a message.

It was stolen in late April of 2006. The funny thing is that at the time I would only stay overnight at her house on Saturday's, and I usually would drive my beater car that I took to work over there and leave the Marauder in the garage at my house. The one night I drive it there and leave it outside!!! By the time I noticed it was gone the next morning, it was probably already in a million pieces. Never make that mistake again. I want to thank you guys for checking my post and welcoming me back to the site. I was a member to this site before mine was stolen. Selfish of me, I stopped visiting. Hurt to much to see all your beautiful cars. My neighbor with the 2003 Marauder wants 23k dollars for his. My opinion, way to high and out of my price range. Thanks again guys and I'll keep everyone up to date.

To answer your questions, she did not live in a bad nieghborhood at all, thats the problem. These are the areas that these low life people come to and steal cars. Not a problem anymore though. New house, new garage, and one vacant spot in it with Marauder written all over it. If things go right, my next Marauder won't be seeing much daylight. Just some weekend cruising. As for my neighbors Marauder, you are right, 23k isn't a bad price, just out of my range. Thanks for checking out the post, hopefully something does bite for me.

I feel for you. Had my Toyota Celica stolen from right in front of my apartment in NYC on the ONE night I left it on the street! Found it up in the Bronx missing the airconditioning system etc. Sorry for your loss but as others have said, there is a Marauder out there for you.

If 23k is out of his price range, I'm doubting he's going to pay 24k for the same thing that's located halfway across the country.
