So yesterday I go out to run a few errands turn the key and nothing. So after some trouble shooting I come to the conclusion that the starter is not drawing any power. So I pull it and go down to the local Checker and ask the guy behind the counter if he can test it. He asked what it as out of and I said an 04 Marauder.....

He looks at me and says "A Marauder...... That's a Nissan Marauder right?":eek:

That pisses me off. Almost everytime i tell someone i have a marauder they think i say murano :argue:. I dont mind it so much anymore. It just reminds me of how rare my car is. People still stop and stare EVERYTIME i take it out. Till this day ALOT of people have never heard of or even seen a marauder. Accept the rarity of the car and enjoy :D

thanks ..i was going to trade it in for the new one comming out but i think ill wait being she only has 11,000 on the clock..thats one of the reasons im lookin around to see what i want to spend on a mm ..in the long run ill save money buy not buying a new caddy:beer:

yea its no slouch..even stock V's will run a 0-60 in 4.6 an a
1/4 mile run in the mid 13's but i never ran it at the track
all i have is a tune and exhaust w/CAI ..so im sure it can dip
into the high 12's with a good driver the way it is if not super low 13's
with me driving it

I laughed and told him "Yup pretty much. It's your average 12 second grocery getter" and proceeded to get my oil.

Went into a FLAPS years ago and told the kid behind the counter that I needed plugs, points, condensor, wires, rotor and distributor cap for a '69 Firebird 400/4SP.

He told me they didn't make them in '69. Only '68.
