After all the :bs: I went through with the two trys at painting my MM and having it not match I made the 85 mile trek out to Sterling, IL and met with the Reps for Mercury and the paint manufacturer. I showed them exactly what I was complaining about with the three different colors on the car and they agreed with me. The paint manufacturer gave the body shop an "open checkbook" to make the car right. :bows: The result.. a fresh new paint job for my "Black Widow". No blending or trying to match it a 3rd time. Its getting a complete new coat from front to rear. Hopefully it'll be right this time. Keeping my fingers crossed. Bad part is I won't get it back until next week  Oh well it'll be worth it.

Best of luck! Hopefully they'll actually give you some paint this time, unlike the rest of us...

Tim you may end up with the best paint job of any of these beasts. Good luck and let us know how it works out for you.

Did you tell that Mercury and paint rep to check in here?
Does the factory use PPG?
Good luck on the repaint. Sounds like it will be done right this time or else
Hey, Fyre--- how did you get the dealer to give you the name of the factory rep and how to contact him? Since I've been having alignment problems, I've asked to talk to a rep, and everyone refuses to give me any contact info. Would you give me your rep's name so I can start with him to find someone to help me?
