And when I occasionally dress down from a shirt and slacks I always get that second look as if I would pull something like that. I sometimes wonder if I'm the last of the decent guys from my gen. :alone:

Also, that first video really gives ya an idea of the kind of smoke that could have been left behind after two racers did a burnout during an illegal race in DC where the CV ran over a bunch of people that wandered into the street. Luckily no one seemed to have been run over in this case, but damn if I wouldn't have been on the phone reporting everything in a heartbeat.

A few were killed alot were hurt when a car blinded by burnout smoke hit ppl in the middle of the street after a street race...From the country accents in the background Id say they were in ATL of FL. Agreed - I was shocked that they were recording on a busy road with motorists stopped each way as they pulled these stunts without the least bit hesitation, and I don't think that the other drivers didn't mind - under circumstances this brazen no one is going to get out of their cars, or even say anything, they probably just wanted to be on their way ASAP. That SUV got out ASAP once its path was clear - I'm trying not to visualize someones wife and kids being in the wrong place/wrong time with these clowns around - but it aint workin.... :shake:

That was the biggest part, with all that thick smoke, the DTR stopped sideways, and the driver standing in the middle of the road:eek: proud of his accomplishment oblivious to his surroundings. It would be interesting to talk to him a few years down the road, when he and the camera man gain a little maturity (flame suit on).

Get some Kooks/Cobra manifold's and change your 4 cats to all high flow's, muffler's, and delete tips. You don't have to do all to achieve that sound, any of those will suffice! Hell, if you found yourself a good set of mufflers combined with the delete tips you'd be set.

It's a car, they can do whatever they want with it. Why do people put mufflers on this car to make it sound like an old truck?

Yes I am now in La Plata. I just moved out here. It is the friekin sticks! I have 4 cars worth of garage space and 3 acres though w/ a nice colonial on it, built in the late 80s. It's a quiet neighborhood and me and my wife are the young uns (24/25). The retired guys on the street all come over when I am working on car stuff though, they build cars and bikes and are cool guys. I can't get cable or DSL because I am 1.4 miles too far away from a newer development!!!!!!!

Tell me about it, my Grandma's house is a street over from cable in a newer development, but they wont run the lines to her street. I know its the sticks, but their are ALOT of nice cars down their to play with. 2 years ago coming back to NJ in my brothers explorer we got surronded by a mustang, a T/A, a beater eclipse, a SS camaro and a couple other japout's. Raced a bright orange GTI also, looked like a fruit :lol:

Nope, all 4 of my cars are in the 2 garages I have. Nothing sits outside. And a whole lot of houses in southern MD have 2 garages because there seem to be a lot of gearheads like me out here..... Agreed that nobody is going to bother coming to Southern MD to find me. Not even Comcast or Verizon.
