can't wait till the 30th ..... ts-pa it was'nt a a thred drift i thought we should keep upcoming events on a currant thread thats all.. it helps me keep track of us that are comming to watch and race..now all we need is charlie to show up in his blue and we'll have all colors there...pick on charlie and get him to show up .....

My status may be changing, something came up. Old friend is in town for the weekend and invited me to a vintage car restoration shop open house Sunday morning. It's kind a private tour too I've met the show owners before as well...I'm still trying to figure things out. That will be in WestVA so other side of the state...

Yeah, this shop did this guys Sunbeam Tiger, they did a super meticulus restoration job on it. He moved to Montana but they still have that car as they're finishing some tweaks on it, so he's stopping by to see it and hang out with the shop guys a bit. I'll get to check out their new shop and chat vintage cars.

I have a 1965 Triumph Spitfire that's disassembled and in storage, has been in the family for 30 years, taken apart for a basic resto a few years back. I was putting it back together but the body tub is completely shot, I thought the rust wasn't that bad, and it wasn't, what was bad was finding big dents that had been pulled in each panel that wasn't rusted. I'm gonna see if they have any leads on a new body tub, cheap of course!

I attended a classic car show they put on about 2 or 3 years back, they were in Harpers Ferry but recently moved their shop to Inwood WV.

Probably won't smell race fuel or burning rubber but ought to see some chrome and shiny paint still.

Sounds like we won't stay there that long either, and it'll be more in the AM, but it'd be a big hike to make it to Capitol and I'd be there pretty late if I do this WV trip.

I hope so! If I can pull off a 13 second run without headers, UDPs, water pump and 4.10 gears I will be stoked!

Played around with the drag radials this evening, car deff. moves a whole lot quicker now. Waiting on Zack for my updated tune.
