Dyno AFR w/ Cats

I stopped by my local Dyno and was told with cats they could not get an accurate AFR reading. Is this true?

If true is there an access upstream of the cats that the probe can measure from?

That's bullcrap. Wideband sniffer in the tailpipe has always worked for everyone I've ever known...

You can also run a A/F gauge attached to your primary O2 sensors, that works too...
