The tire is matched for wet and dry traction with it's 3D side processing tread design. The carving groove in the center section optimizes water evacuation, while the large outer tread blocks maximize dry performance. Reliability is also improved with an improved inner liner which reduces air leakage over time.

•Wide Center Tread rib for greater straight line performance and stability.

•Attractive "REDLINE" lining along the diameter of the sidewall.

•Large tread blocks on the outside of the tread to stiffen outer contact patch for improved cornering performance.

•Superior water evacuation with 3-Dimensional Tread blocks located on the inner tread for enhanced wet operation

Well, some things like speed rating/treadwear rating and application would be good. Can't say the red pintripe would be wanted...

I've considered these. Sizes not available for my application. Didn't check for stock application sizes. Would look cool on Marauderman's car!!! (red pinstripe and red inserts)

Discount Tire Direct has 255/45-18 for $75 each!!!

Tempting since that size will fit if you wanted to do the same size front/rear.

That's why I got four - I should have them installed by this weekend.

I believe they are Z rated and the red "pin" wall looks pretty good - I'll take pictures installed.

Thats an inch lower than the originals off the rear. Aren't they??:shake:

Yep - I'm not a drag racer so getting the car level will work better with my suspension set-up.

Coooooooool. I can't wait to see pix!!!

I myself have debated on going the same size front/rear and just retune it for the different rear size.

can you invert the tire to hide the nast red stripe?

No - the tread is symetrical. There is and inside and an outside.
The red stripe looks good and is retro if you were around during the 60's or are familiar with them.
After I get the car cleaned up I'll take some pictures.

I should get some today. I spent the w/e getting the car leveled out - sits low on all four corners now.

Here's some pictures. And no, I still haven't figured out how to resize them on my software to come out the right size here!

Thank you!
It actually corners even nicer than it did before!

I've thought about these for the MM. I've seen a set on a black S197 Mustang, and they looked nice.

Can you take more pictures? Those were a little difficult to see with any real definition, or maybe my eyes are worse than I thought! I am in need of new rear tires already and I bought them in January '07

My eyes aren't any better - the pictures are too small.
I will see what I can do when time permits.

Do these look any better?

There you go, the other pics were like 1" tall.

The stripe looks fine. They are a little lower profile than I like to see on this big boat. I would probably do those tires all around in a 50 or 55 series

I thought they were a little low at first too.
Having the car lowered to the max all the way around gets it looking much better. It also took a little while to get used to the car sitting level.
Now I like the h*ll out of it!!
It handles better than ever but it does ride harder than stock - I like but some wouldn't.
