I know it's kinda late for this but if you can go the Garden City Easter Parade is an awesome car event. Even though it is called an Easter Parade, it is really more of an old car parade. What is surprising is how many people come out for this event. The crowds are huge! And the antique cars come out of the woodwork for this event. Everything from the early teens, up to the Musclecars. Along with some really impressive pre-war classics like Packards, Lincolns etc. One year an old timer brought a V-16 Cadillac. The cars start to line up around 10am, and the parade starts at 1pm. It goes down along Franklin St. (or is it called Franklin Ave.?)
I would have brought my 1940 Buick, but the brakes are mushy, and I haven't had the time to look at them.
This event is worth while attending, and would make a great mini meet.
Here is a link to the Garden City Chamber of Commerce about the event.
