The time has come to part with my beloved '98 P71. This is the vehicle that brought me into the Panther fold and many hours of hard labor in mods and detailing has brought about what you see here.

History:

Before acquiring P71 in 2001, it was assigned to the Diplomatic Security Services at an Embassy in Virginia. In other words, this was a "Fed car", meaning it had a very easy life with no police chases, curb-jumping, or any of the other abuse most P71s endure.

Since I acquired the '98, it was my daily driver until 2003 when it became a full-time weekend-only driver and garage queen. Since then, it has not seen rain or snow but only sunny skies.

It has a very easy-driven 105K on the odometer, which is nothing for these Panthers, of course.

Mods:

I would like this vehicle to go to a Panther enthusiast or a gearhead who'll continue to take care of her in the manner to which she has become accustomed.

I can assure you that you will not be disappointed in any aspect of this Police Interceptor. Heck, I am only selling it because it is time to move in a new direction. There is nothing about the car itself that has brought me to this decision to sell her.

Whoever purchased this vehicle will have a one of a kind P71 with a legendary history on this forum. Again, you will not be disappointed. I challlenge you to find a cleaner, more-well maintained modded P71.

I'm asking a negotiable $7500. I'm open to dealing.

Please PM me with questions and offers.

Thanks for looking.

Just before anyone else asks, how many miles does she have?

Thanks for all of the kind words.

I too never thought this day would come, but it is time.

As for the mileage, I believe it is a very easy-driven 105K or so. She runs and feels like a new Vic due to her easy life as a fed's commuter car and my fair-weather driver.

Any reasonable offers will be entertained. Thanks.

Good morning.

The Vic is located in Kentucky.

looks great! http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r81/ibossi/emoticons/024.gif what color is that?

Thanks. It is Medium Wedgewood Blue. It is a fantastic color. Looks like a dark blue if not black in darker lighting and is very bright, with a hint of purple flake in direct sunlight. I get nothing but compliments on the color and the condition of the original paint.

So why are you selling the 98 and not the 01?

So why are you selling the 98 and not the 01?

The '01 is a daily driver and it would pain me to have to drive the '98 daily again since it is so clean and detailed, inside and out.

In short, I don't mind when the '01 gets dirty.

Plus, I think I've done every mod I want to do on the '98. It's just time to move on and send her to another good home.

 Embassy. I cannot believe that you're selling so emblematic Panther that is very identified with you for real I am feel very angry and limitedeconimically if not I assure you, that Panther was here in Puerto Rico but now I have to concentrate on the restoration of My 2003 Grand Marquis I hope when I am very good $$$$$$ you still have that Panther and then we can talk and negotiate but at that price I don't think it stay too long with you, so good luck with the sale Mang. :(

 I have a few questions.

1- The Panther has the stock front bucket seats without those annoing armrests ?

2- When was the last time the transmission was serviced(changed fluid or get flused)

3- It has the Police front & rear Springs(NN/NUL,HH/HAP) ?
