I put in Osram (Sylvania) Silverstar H1 bulbs. They are supposed to be 50% brighter. I got them from suvlights.com $10 each.
did they plug right in and fit the same as the factory lights.do they seem 50% brighter.do you have a part#?

Very simple install. They do just plug in. I think they are brighter. I'm not sure about the 50% part. The bulb number is H1. This same place has 100 watt H1's if you want to go wild
the guy on the phone seems to be lost.do you have the receipt with some other # than H1.he also can look it up by the name that bought them to make sure i get the same ones you have.if you dont mind you can PM it to me to give to him i dont want to order something over the phone and not be 100% sure i'm getting the right parts:rolleyes:

I just went to the suvlights.com site. Below is what I got. Looks like they went up $2 each. These are the German H1 bulbs. That's why they say Osram instead of Sylvania (same company)
H1
OSRAM - Silverstar +50% ECE 55W $12 / Each
Osram Sylvania is one and the same company, within the US they use both Osram and Sylvania, outside the US its Osram. The Osram Silverstar is a clear bulb with Xenon gas boost to increase brightness up to 50% color is similar to standard halogen though it is slightly whiter. The Sylvania Silverstar is the same bulb but with an amethyst blue coating with 30% more light than standard halogen and 4000K light color which is comparable to Xenon/High Intensity Discharge Light Systems as seen on high end cars from Acura, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Lexus, Mercedes Benz, Porsche to name a few.

H1 is the lamp type for the fog lights.

Man, the naughty word filter on here can't tell between the word for the posterior and such useful words as a-s-s-e-m-bly and
m-a-s-s-i-v-e. I guess you can't say "there was a m***ive croud at the b*** masters ***embly"
:P
