OK, it was a Cayenne, and it's got it's weight issues too, but it's still 444HP. Even though "objects in rear view mirror are closer than they appear" he looked mighty small to me. I heard him floor it as we pulled away from the stoplight but he didn't have a chance.

A Cayenne S or a Cayenne S Turbo? The regular cayenne S only has 340hp and weighs a bunch more...

If it was a Turbo, well... he should've done better.

Bottom line...you still dusted a Porshe....just when they ask what kind you go....

**cough**, **cough** Chayenne, **cough**

Good point, Logan, it may well have been a standard 340 HP version (in fact, it had to be since he had it floored), I don't know that much about them, but my quick research today turned up the 444 HP figure. I didn't know there were two versions, but I should have! But as Marauder 57 says..IT WAS STILL A (cough) PORSCHE!!

Need to add in

"My car sucks - I'm just a poser."

But otherwise I had to work to keep my root ber from coming out my nose.

Yeah dude, definately the S. The turbo would have smoked you. That thing does the Nuremburg (sp?) ring faster than the Boxster S.

I ripped a few Porsches up as well... don't tell anybody, but they were 944's and one 928. Like was said before: it's still a porsche.

I had more fun racing one older Porsche after track last night than racing at the track.... Poor guy didn't stand a chance.

He'd get lost on the straightaways but would ride my bumper on sharp curves and than get lost again on the next straightaway.

its a good feeling to smoke a Porsche!

I swept up gl*** from a Porsche rollover the other day. Driver was not happy turns out Vettes win in side swipe races!!!

Hehehe. I used to have a Suzuki Sidekick. Rolled it in a weather related incident.

Now I judge all SUV/4X4 type vehicles the same way - "I could flip it..."

No mods yet! It was kind of a rolling start, and I waited until I heard him hit the gas hard. I floored it and as soon as it hit the magic 3K RPM he was left playing catch up on my right rear quarter. He quickly slinked off to an exit ramp leading to Central. Poor guy...

Though this is a little of topic...more to TTA thread...Ricers...what a waste....When I was at the track with Dennis when he was running his SC...they had all these great cars running the 1/4...old novas...muscle cars....great looking stuff...to the Bondo guys...(all the good stuff is inside)...some woman(boy did she look rough) had a 65 Chevy van with a homemade intake behind the grill made from what looked like Dryer Accordian type tubing...it was hilarioius until she ran high 13's.....

Any way the one bust on the whole day was a Mazda RX7 before the last body change....these guys had all the paint...racing stickers....windows the works....when the guy got up to the line you could hear that Turbo wind up so high I thought gl*** would break....then silence...the other guy is running down the track and the car could not go....so they push it to the side and work on it for about 45 minutes....

Then try it again with another driver (kids son I think)...this kid revs it so high...it broke snapped the master belt.....so pushed it back off the track and onto a flat bed......

$10 Entrance Fee to watch Jr. and Senior National Drag Racing
$5 for large coke to watch Reinharts SC run upper 12's
Watching some poor ricer burn up his car like a wind up toy... PRICELESS!
