You should also have a small "standby" list on hand in case people can't make it. I tried submitting leave for this day, and I was laughed at by my stupe. I'm still going to press the issue, and believe I will succeed, but in case I don't...I'd like to give my place to another member if possible.

Tomorrow is shaping up nicely...looking for solid 13.6 -13.5 on the Marauder, and 11.7's in the Buick. We're brining the digital camera, and the video camera. Can't wait to see my friends 10 second Nova also.

It was a good day for the most part.

I managed to kill both 02 Sensors and throw a code before I even made to the track. :rolleyes:
Apparently years of high octane leaded fuel is the culprit.

I made one pass, if you could call it that with my slicks.
13.4 @ 73mph.
Apparently the lack of of rubber remaining on them (the cords showing should have clued me in duh) made the car get extremely uncontrollable mid track, and veering toward the walls in some sort of strange fish tail mid-track.

I was forced to run the Nitto 420S (light truck) street tires.
They work great on blower alone once lit up in the water box.
Minimal slippage once launched. No better than a 1.91 60 foot every run.
I am used to 1.61 to 1.73 60 foot times on slicks.

Best times on motor alone today 12.6 @ 109

The Nittos are useless when spraying from a launch. They spin through the first three gear changes. I had to practice arming the NOS at the best point of shift. I found that if I armed it as first was shifting into second, it bit as good as it could.

Consistanly ran 12.0x every run with lots of spin and aweful 60 foot times.

Best of the day 11.85 @ 119.

I like it a lot! I also ordered two new tires from Summit and pick them up tomorrow. I smell LOOOOWWW 11's booya!
