Went out to purchase an alarm after my nieghbors on either side have had thier cars / trailers broke in the last few weeks. Well found a place on Rufe Snow ..but they were not gonna open to 10:00.
So I improvised rode around looking for a place, ended up at Cheaper than dirt and went home with a Glock 22 and 90 rounds on ammo.
Anybody know of a silent alarm ?
Armed and dangerous

take a Gun course. The Conceal Carry are good. Go to the range and study your owners manual.

Well a gun course would be a good refresher, I have had over the years .357 model 19, a K22 s&w ( same frame as 19 just a .22), a .44 mag model 29 S&w
a model 59 s&w 9mm. Managed to qualify expert in USAF with thier yucky .38.
So as of now I only have a 590 mossberg 12 ga and now this Glock. But at least a self defense class might be a good idea.
Anybody in DFW know of a good pistol range?
oh the 90 rounds are all hollow points.

I should have specified My gun course advice was directed to dreydin the new gun owner.
NRA has a list of approved gun ranges, do a search.

Well suppose I would have figured that out if I had read all the posts , good advice for anyone actaully just sort of ruffled probably cause I am hard headed and do not play well with others.
As far as alarms go do they make a silent alarm that would just set off a pager or something? Need more beer.....
Congrats on your Purchase XD40 is a fine piece just got a price break on the Glock that was hard to turn down.

I have a Ravelco on one of my classic cars. You cannot start the car with the plug removed from the holder. They claim not without a major rewiring. That, however would not stop someone from towing it. If they did they would still have a problem using of selling the car. They do not put a hole in the dash but mount it under. Lojack said that they have a silent system that lets you know the car is moving from it's spot, and where it is. GPS. I have never check it further.
