Make sure they sent you the long bolts for the ball flange, not the short bolts for the old 3-Bolt Flanges.

Looks like I got the old bolts for the 3 bolt flanges 6 of each bolt, washers, and nuts. Guess I will have to pick some up. Do you use the header bolts sent or reuse the factory ones? I know everyone said reuse the factory gasket, better seal? Kooks sent me a aluminum gaskets no paper ones..

No ceramic coating, shop called FLP will do the install, and alot of guys use stock studs...

Mock it up in your garage and take a measurement of the length you need.

I looked into a thermo coating and a wrap.

I got mixed info. You get lower under hood temps.

One theory is the headers act as a heat sink to get the heat out of the engine and it's better to get heat out of the engine than to lower underhood temps. If there are other things you are concerned about underhood wrap/shield them.

Sexy has been installed. I found a shop in my area that does great work. I recommend them to anyone who is looking to do exhaust work. Shop is called FLP (Fast Lane Performance) they are located off 301 N. Crain Hwy by Brandywine junk yard. Here are a few pics cell phone type but you get the drift...

The Xpipe is using the supplied SS band clamps for ease of removal of the cats. Performance was noticed on the first tap of the gas. Also I drove to Michigan to see Lidio to get a dyno tune and smaller 3.2 supercharger pulley.

Doom a ride it is my friend...Think the first ride was crazy wait till you ride now. Gotta put my Metco's on now....This car is a big money pit for sure but man this car gets more enjoyable everyday to have, Doom we going to get that sway bar on yours asap this week are you back yet or will you be home monday evening when i get off work I can put my tools on my tuck when I leave in the morning.

Also the part number you need from Kooks is the headers kit #6801 Catted x-pipe #6802....You can get mufflers and tails on your own if choose so I already had flowmaster 40 series and i just used the factory 2 1/4 tails. I dont see the gain from goin a 1/2 size bigger on the tails will do.
