Hey guys,

My friends are all Tweeter installers/salesmen(brother). I was wondering if any members had a sweet custom trunk they wouldnt mind posting pictures of.

My friends are pretty skilled with MDF and floor construction and fiberglass constructs. I just wanted to see what we have going in the community.

Is it just me or are our trunks designed so silly? Why is the spare above the floor?

Please post some trunk pics! :)

Here is the link to what I did last year. There are other members, such as Kenny (Bad Merc) that have put mucho dinero into their systems. Any sound advice can be had from Rich (magindat) or JohnKuhn. There is plenty if you use the search feature.

Here are during and after pics of mine. Although it looks like a bunch of work - it was quite simple. The floor is removable and there's storage for the spare and tools there. There is also a Varad LED kit that lights up everything.

Merc - how come you didnt opt to but a dummy floor with braces to cover the spare? or would that slice the truck space too much?

It seems like our trunks do not have much depth aside from the deep box in the center.

It does have a false floor with a GH logo molded into the carpet.

2-10" subs running infinite baffle behind the rear seat. Motorized amp rack. spare tire and stuff under false floor. More stereo pics in the gallery.

Mike where is your sub in the last few pictures of the full carpet trunk? That is EXACTLY what I want if your sub is in front of the amps.

Did you kill that trunk wall/shelf that the spare sits on factory? Or did you work with it?

Eric,

The subs are screwed to a frame/baffle which is bolted to the rear seat frame. I think I have a build pic of it somewhere.

I used the shelf to screw the amp rack onto with a piece of MDF. The panel is hiding the shelf from view.
