ok I got big black betty back from getting the new motor about two weeks ago.... just checking to make sure a couple of things seem ok.... well for one they did put the wrong oil in it but I have not changed it yet... they ran 10w30 in it, but anyways when I am at idle oil pressure is right at 24-25 psi when i first start the car its right at about 80-95 psi until it warms.... oil temp after driving for about a half hour or an hour is 180 degrees have not really understood the air/fuel gauge it know it runs to rich when hammered and back and forth between stoich and lean when regular driving, i dunno how that thing works never did but see if any of that sounds ok to you?

sounds good to me if it went lean at wot you'd definately have a problem and the oil pressure is normal

Honestly I didn't think it would read that, since it's fake, and it wouldn't fluctuate?

Pray tell who is the "they" that put the wrong oil in your car, so we don't patronize their business. No excuse for that. When you take it back ask about compensation, like a free fuel filter change......belay that, just take the cash, they will prolly try and change the A/C cabin filter.

If your oil pressure gauge is even somewhat accurate, those pressures sound about right. The modular motors DO make very high pressure when cold and drop down a lot when warmed up.

If your engine rebuilder set the clearances a little looser, then 10W-30 would be fine in your car. Otherwise, switch to 5W-30 as soon as convenient.

As to the A/F gauge, it's kinda useless. All it really does is indicate O2 sensor switching. Unless you like the pretty light show, either get rid of it or install a wideband.
