Well I made mention of both cars to the better half... I got a dirty look followed with one simple word "No", then she walked off... Man... She never lets me have anything fun anymore....

Ditto......and you get to enjoy the solitude with your new car. :D

P.S., I bid on it. Blue could use a sister.

Wonder if the blue in Chicago is JerseyGirls old ride?? The mileage would be about right.

The Chicago vehicle owner said it was previously owned by a female.

If it was JerseyGirls I hope it gets a home that loves it as much as she did.

If anyone is interested in the Blue here in Chicago, let me know and I will check it out, Woodale is in the county I work for, so I can look at it on the county dime and the Des Plaines location is my former home turf.

personally i am not into the "dark blue pearl" MM... seen it in person and wasnt dark enough for me. i have owned dark blue fords before.. mustangs... this just didnt do it for me. if you want to be one of the supposed rare blues go for it. but i wouldnt if you havent seen one in person. not really dark blue to me anyway. maybe there is a reason they only made a few lol

I love your subscript & it is oh so true. Banks & lending institutions get in trouble out of greed. They get bailed out. the little guy breaks a leg down the stretch & they shoot you.

Well, I had a Blue, almost. I had the high bid when the auction closed this morning so the seller sent me a 2nd chance offer then called me. We agreed on the price and he asked me not to accept the eBay 2nd chance because it would cost him an additional fee. I got the vin to my lender, paperwork is rolling and I am coordinating my absence from home/work to get this vehicle from Chicago to TX.

The seller calls me back a few hours later and tells me there are guys outside looking at the car offering him $1,500 more than he agreed to sell it to me, said he'd let me pay the additional amount if I wanted. I was quite surprised and thought about it for a second and just thanked him and let it go. He very well could have been just trying to squeeze more out of the car or actually had people there, who knows and I don't care. That guy can't be trusted and I told him that later. Never, in at least 6 car purchases from individuals, has this ever happened to me, guess I've been lucky. I would never sell my credibility/integrity.

What an a$$ and such a shame. I was stoked, then pissed, now just bummed but I guess I wasn't meant for this one.

No "supposed" about it, they only built 327 DPB.

To each his own.
