How far do they actually adjust?
I'm pretty sure mine are broken (very minor issue to me)... I hit the button and they move forward and back approx. 1/4"
:lmao:
Isn't it supposed to be like 4 inches or something?

Mine are sticky, they don't get used much. Every once in a while I put them through their whole range of movement to keep them from becoming unuseable. I help them gently with the toe of my shoe.

HOLY S*** I JUST NOTICED THAT I HAD THE SAME ISSUE!!!! WEIRD!!!
I know what mine are supposed to do and I figured I would try them after owning the car a year and only using them the first day I owned it to see how they worked and they hardly moved... don't really care because they are where I want them and you can move the seat up... KEEPS MIDGETS FROM DRIVING IT!!!!

If you can hear the motor running...Check for binding
If not (no motor sound)...check the electrical

Mine did the same thing, it moved just a little bit back and forth. I took it to the Mercury Dealer here and they replaced a switch under warranty.

I got 1/2 (the accelerator pedal) of mine replaced. I'm waiting for the other half (the brake pedal) to arrive.

I thought that's what the little blocks of wood in the trunk were for.

HAHAHA @ replies.
I have motor noise... but as soon as they move a hair the motor cuts out (like it's hitting a limiter switch). I guess I will have to investigate further... if I work up enough "care"! :)
Thanks guys!
