View Full Version : Tired of your MM? Trade for my TBSS
Darkside

For the GM haters out there, no need to reply. I put a thread in the for sale section but I don't know how many frequent that forum that aren't actively trying to sell their cars.
Just looking to downsize in the amount of money I have tied up in vehicles. Looking for a lower mileage MM, stock or lightly modded. My TBSS is a 2006, superior blue, 15k miles, fully optioned LT AWD. Has navigation, dvd player, everything. I have 7k in bolt-ons. The hitch was removed and can no longer tow.
Anybody interested in MM & cash for the TBSS?

I'd be interested depending on the $$$ amount, I would also like to see the rest of the truck.

A friend has one of those, and I have driven it. It is pretty damn fast. He just did a tune and exhaust on it and it feels like a different truck. I am awaiting dyno results. It's hard to find a AWD dyno to handle this type of AWD. Some kink of torque split front and rear, more power to the rear.

Your car sounds nice and you're only a couple hours away. How would that beast be for a daily driver though? Miles?

Never taken many photos since it mainly looks stock outside of the exhaust. It now has red calipers, polished SS badging, billet SS front bowtie, tint, and blacked out lights.

Price difference would depend on the value of the Marauder. Selling mine outright I would price it at $28,900.
Performance mods:
Stainless Works Longtube headers
Stainless Works true duals with x-pipe
RPM Transmissions Level V tranny
Vigilante 3400 stall converter
Vector tune
Vector CAI
Vector HSRK
Vector electric fans
The best run to date is a 12.91@104.3 , it consistently has corrected times in the lower 12.8's.

Im a chevy guy but those are fail blazers lol. Check the TSB's on them and u will see what I mean. Marauder has four, TB has 845. WOW

I wouldn't call a near 5000lb suv that runs 12's with bolt ons a failure. I don't see Marauders running those times with similar mods, and their a bit lighter as well.
Every car will have its quirks. Just because a manufacturer doesn't make a TSB doesn't mean there isn't problems. It just means that they won't warranty the problems. I've read about more than four common problems with MM's on this board.

Yeah I'm pretty sure we have more than 4 tsb, but anyways a model can have a tsb but that does not mean every car is effected. I liked the Trailblazer SS and I don't think I have seen that rear bumper cover on one, it looks good.

You have the same Idea As I do. :D I've watched you Mod that Blue beast! and I know you hate to let it go!. as do I mine, but Like you I'd like to get back into the large MM cruizer! :)
Good luck on the sell.

Thanks, the rear valence is custom for the center exit exhaust. There are a handfull of center exit trucks now, but this was the first.

Thanks Jeff, I thought I recognized your name but the avatar is a definate clue. I really love the SS and hate to get rid of it. But I could do without the high car payment. Our other cars are payed off and I'd rather have a smaller payment. I've got over 60k in my two cars right now, and thats silly.
I've always loved the MM and almost bought one for my wife in '04. It was a left over '03 and I could have had it for 21.5k. Hindsight is a biotch.:shake:

Chevy should have done something similar in the first place like what the SRT-8 Cherokee has. I never did understand that one lonesome tailpipe on the side.

Saving money most likely. I'm sure they didn't want to pay for runflats and getting around the spare is tricky.
