Yes i finally took some pics today after work of my new setup. I am sorry about some of the pics the camera not that great and the car is a little dirty today. Also you will notice the brake disc and calipers more now so the next step is some disc and painted rotors.
Setup
Boss Motorsport 328 chrome wheels 18x8 40mm offset with mercury godhead centers installed
front tires Nitto NT 555 255/45-18
rear tires Nitto 420 255/55-18
set the ride height to 30 1/2" when running its about 30" when sitting
The feel of this setup is great very smooth back dosent sway very tight still holds a corner with no body roll steering feels more responsive but no overstear.

Looks good and that combo will serve you well.
Only thing I'd have done different (and did) is use that same offset as a 20 in the rear and go 255/45/20 with 420s.
I likey. Good work.

Do the fronts scrape at full lock?
Nice looking wheel/tire combination, but I have the same question. I tried fitting 255's on the front at the retailer and it was pretty tight.

The tires do not rub when i turn the wheel all the way to the stops left or right ,but i am running a wheel that has a 40mm offset compared to the stock 50mm offset with the 40 the rim is about 3/8" towards the outside of wheel well

I did the same thing on my '97 Crown Vic to fit a 8.5" wheel with 255R50-17 tires. I came to the conclusion that it caused increased front suspension wear and transmitted shocks from the road through the suspension to the steering wheel, as well as degrading the steering precision.
Draw a line from your upper ball joint through the lower ball joint to the road. It should intersect your wheel in the center of it's width. Any deviation from 0 is the size of your scrub radius, a critical design dimension in suspension geometry.

THey look like a stock wheel to the unaided eye, and it looks like they are the same width (or half inch narrower) than stock. Why did you change them out, were your stock wheels trashed?

Don't get me wrong, they look nice, but I am wondering the same thing.

Why did i change the wheels? Well yes i did damage 2 stock wheels being stupid and the bfg let go so i went with nitto's for more traction. as for the wheels i was going to get my stock wheels fixed and then have them chromed, I like chrome rims. Then i found these rims and i liked that they fit the marauder look. Next i get the stock rims fixed thow on some tires and use them as a winter set, when i say winter I dont mean snow the mm dont go in the snow. I have my 97 dodge dakota sport 4x4 for that

Usually NITTO's drag radial with 6/32 in. deep threads are used in the rear.
What do the 420's (tread depth?-I couldn't find easily) offer you in the rear that is better?
