I know what they mean sort of but I been doing a little research and I have found it means a (possible ground fault a wire touching metal) on the circuit. Has anyone else here had this problem and what was the cause of it and what was the resolution.

Here is what the codes are for.....

P0351 Ignition Coil Primary A / Secondary Circuit Malfunction
P0352 Ignition Coil Primary B / Secondary Circuit Malfunction
P0353 Ignition Coil Primary C / Secondary Circuit Malfunction
P0354 Ignition Coil Primary D / Secondary Circuit Malfunction
P0355 Ignition Coil Primary E / Secondary Circuit Malfunction
P0356 Ignition Coil Primary F / Secondary Circuit Malfunction
P0357 Ignition Coil Primary G / Secondary Circuit Malfunction
P0358 Ignition Coil Primary H / Secondary Circuit Malfunction

You betcha.I get everyone of these codes everytime I pin it through the shift points. This started after the S/c install.I think it is a fault with the alt. but I am not having any drivability issues and it is not misiing,I know that for sure.I was wondering if anyone else had ever had this problem. What brought this on for you?

Happened 300 miles after my dyno tune. I have no drivability issues either read for codes a lil bit after clearing them then I got just 2 of them not all 8. Then one time all but 1. car doesnt miss and runs great. I have my Xcal2 hooked up to my laptop doing some data logging.

maybe caused by low voltage when the alt cuts out at wot or sumpin

Thats a possibility I guess but the tune is proven over on many vehicles....But I know some vehicles perform differently from others....

I read your thread on MCM and I think its just the fact when you nail it like I did I was going 120 or so. I have done just about everything in checking it out. I car didnt have a real aggressive tune prior now the tune is more aggressive and im using the smaller 3.2 pulley which im guessing when i spin it up more and really getting on it then I have the problem. Oh well the car is perfect and it so fun to drive its like going back in time fast lol...

Might be the gap of the plugs...Mine are at .030 originally they were at .032. Im going to re-gap them today and see what happens.

My codes started that way too.One at a time or only a few.But the harder I drove the more.In fact a couple of times I got a fuel pump circiut fault aswell. The one thing I have noticed is all coils and the fuel pump run off the same power supply, which comes directly from the alt.I did check plug gap already aswell.I agree it should not be a fault with the tune, because nobody else is having problems.I believe the alt. cut out is omitted whith Lidios tune.I have a couple of ideas of things to check when the roads clear up.1)if the alt is the cause(bad diode or some thing)if my battery is well charged and I unplug the alt.,take it for a run I maybe able to prove a fault with the alt.I have heard of this before.2)the one other thing I did at the same time the s/c'r was installed was replace the battery with a good used one.I have heard of batteries being at fault for stupid stuff like this?
Let me know if you ever get any place with this.

just FYI,I changed my plugs to Motorcraft.AGSF-22C/sp-505.I have driven the ***** out of it.I got P0358 twice put never put the CEL on.I have since cleared the code and continued to drive the ***** out of it and no more codes of any sort. This thing is even more fun when no CEL is on.

Cool man Im glad that helped you too. What kind of plugs did you have before you changed them and what were the gaps set at?

I was going to suggest looking at the gap and/or electrodes for "out of range" signs...

What type of connectors are you guys using???

With stock connectors, look for burning (dis-colored metal), I had two stockers that were burned and not conducting properly...

With Granatelli's, look for arching (black marks), between the two ends of the clip...where the clip ends meet...Check, both top (coil side), and bottom (plug side)...

Also look for torn plug boots...+ too much dailectic (spelling?) grease can cause it to ground...

Mine (plugs) are set at .030...*NGK Tr6
Good luck...

got stock COP's and they had all looked good.I was told that if you had a COP problemyou would have actual missfire codes, but not to sure and don't want to know either.Alll is working good now.Thanx to everyone who tried to help us.

You realize this thread is 7 years old? Many that posted in this thread are not around..

Potential causes of a P0355 code include: Short to voltage or ground on COP driver circuit Open on COP driver circuit Loose connection at coil or broken connector locks Bad Coil (COP) Faulty Powertrain Control Module
