Here's the issue guys, I got all my gauges in last weekend, I noticed that right around 6k RPMS i'm pushing just about 11.5 almost 12 lbs of boost,
This Is a FIT procharged car, I was looking in my paper work from when i got the blower it's got the 3.60 pully listed Is this why my boost level is rather high? My mods are Stainless longtubes and Full 3 IN exhaust accept for over the axle it's 2.5 in .. My question is, What BAP's are you guys running? Are they hard to install? Part #'s if you dont mind. I also need a set of 60lb injectors should i get these from ford? I got a price of 476.00 for 8. I think i need connectors to make these work. and has anyone got the Mafi mass air extension? Is that hard to wire in or is it plug and play. I rememeber someone on here with a FIT car had all these things i have listed on their car but i cant remember who it was. My aim is to install everything myself and then drive the car to where i'm getting it tuned. Thanks for any and all input, Seneca

You don't need ANY of that...
I had my FIT kit pushing 14 psi with the 42 lb injectors and it tuned out to 472 RWHP with nothing else but a tune. Just take it and get it tuned for the gas in your area (and a 89-91 octane tune too) and you're good to go!

John I have had it on the dyno and the fuel System was getting maxed out at top end. Injector Duty Cycle was at 97% and fuel pump Duty Cycle was at 96% I believe. My tuner said he could tune it but in cool weather the fuel system may not keep up, The injectors i have are 39 lb ..Seneca
Get another tuner.

Seneca, that was my car set-up prior to the built motor. I had to go with 60 lbs injectors (Siemans) and a Mafia from Diablosport (which plugs in directly) to the lightning 90 mm mass air. With the 3.60 pulley, Scott Beer who is my tuner fully recommended the above to keep the stock motor safe. I was pushing 475 RWHP in the Florida heat and never had a problem with the motor. IN fact that motor is in my son-in-law's Procharger 94 Lincoln MK VIII which has run a best of 11.9 et and he won the 12 second True Street class at the recent NMRA event in Bradenton. Also you need to upgrade your fuel pump as previsouly discussed some time ago (could not locate the Cobra pumps for you). I would recommend the GT 40 pumps now anyway or maybe you can just add a BAP and that would work. And then a good tune. I checked here in my laptop and I still have the tune which I can e-mail to you if you have a Predator.

If you are looking for a MAFia, I have one that is NEW IN BOX that I bought but never used on ProRauder. Offer me $25 less than you can find it online and I will ship right away.

John I really appreciate how much you've helped me with my car, I'm going to get the Mafia from tomanyfords And injectors from another member on the board. I'm just a lil confused about the fuel pump. What would you do in my situation? BAP or a diffrent fuel pump? since you had the same setup i'de like to do what you did since it worked for you. I do have the Predator Tuner, If your tune would work with my tune that would be a great help. I do wanna get the car to scott eventually for a finall tune i just dont think i'll be able to make it out this year. Seneca

The pump was the Walbro 255 that came with the kit. I never changed that either and had plenty of pressure. if you are going to replace the pump, get something that flows better and doesn't require the BAP as that is just one more device to fail. get the GT Pump and be done.

PM me your e-mail and I'll send it up to you. It is based on the 3.60 pulley, 60 lb injectors and the DSmafia. I would personal recommend to go with different fuel pumps. They are easily available and I honestly do not like a BAP. Never have, never will. Fuel delivery is critical to avoid a lean condition and detonating an engine. Whether stock or built. I had the first Procharger Kit to do this (step up to a 3.60 pulley) and spent hours on the dyno and with various tunes. The stock Walbro pump ran out of fuel pressure with the 12 to 12.5 lbs of boost to the point of where it was deemed unsafe. Now I am talking about drag racing here. John (TooManyFords) feels differently, but he is not a drag racer like I am...

John, did you ever drag race your car when you had the F.I.T. kit on the car? Just curious. Also have you ever drag raced ProRauder yet or got to get it on the dyno with that big blower? Lost track or have not seen anything posted here or at mcm in that regard. Again, just curious...

Oh Yeah... ran it for a year before getting it dyno tuned with the FIT kit.
The new setup is supposed to be on the rollers this next week and will post numbers or pictures of parts (whichever way it goes...) soon.
Cheers!
John
