For those who haven't been there before, Byron is West of Chicago and is one of the nicest tracks around. Check out the website for directions. We had a good turnout at US41 on April 6th so I hope for an even better one in May.

Bring food and drink. I will bring one of those big canopies to keep the sun off.

Espey over at CVN (Lincoln TC with 5.4) took the liberty to call Byron and see what they would be able to do for us.

If we can guarantee 10 cars Byron will set us up with our own staging lane as well as provide trophies (I believe 2).

We now have our OWN LANE at Byron. We will be racing an elimination event of our own for 3 trophies. Best reaction time. Fastest ET. Fastest Panther chassis car.

Any Marauder, Grand Marquis, Town Car, Crown Vic, LTD, Galaxie (old or new), etc is welcome to compete. We need someone to challenge Bradley G for the trophies!

This should be a fun day at one of the nicest tracks in the US. Don't worry if you have never run before - come and try it. Spectators are welcome too. It is $25 to run the car - I am not sure how much for spectators.

Helmet only if under 14 sec. and a passenger is permitted at over 14 also. long pants, windows up, smoke em and smile. Also watch out for the local cops all the way down 72!

Yes I used to like it and now I hate it, plus that was the brothers car not the dads. :P Actually I am saving all I can right now, so the gas and gate money would be a set back. I have never had to be this cheap before. I'll be at the next one, but this has been a rough couple of weeks.
