Does anyone have pics of a Marauder with the correct 03+ CVPI wheels (w/ trim ring would be nice). I have seen a few pics of an MM with the wrong offset 97-02 CVPI wheels on it and it looked horrible with them sticking out (not to mention how that is going to screw w/ handling).
I am sick of the stock wheels getting nicked and chipped mounting tires, aligning, etc. Even when people are careful the clear coat is just so delicate. I was there w/ the guy mounting the tires this time and he still managed to put a scratch in the clear hitting it w/ a tire iron. It will buff out w/ out running out of clear but then the clear on these wheels is going to be getting thin. I am going to start stripping, re polishing, and re clearing my wheels myself, one at a time, using real automotive clear and a paint gun... but another set of beater wheels would be nice.

Don't know if this'll help but here's my winter setup with CVPI wheels. No trim rings though, sorry.

Are those 16" or 17" CVPI wheels? I keep forgetting how weird the flat-faced 03+ CVPI wheel look compared to the older ones w/ more dish.

These are 16" wheels. I think the 05+ gets 17" steelies.

06+ are 17", look for a set of LX sport wheels for beaters, they are 17" and look decent.

Definitely looks like a cop car from the side.

Thank you, SG. I stand corrected.

My winter setup seems to clear the lefthand lanes, particularly at night...

Is that your brother's car w/ the rain guards on it? Those things look so, so crappy, esp on this car.
I thought the 06 CVPI wheels would be 17?

No... some had them as an option, but 16 came standard. the newest fleet vehicles have 17s on them.
and yes that is his car, i hate them too..... so ugly. i fell like our window trim makes the car stand out so much more that covering it makes it ugly.
