Winter Storage

For those of you who store your marauders over the winter, when do you take them back out....I know I just pulled mine out this Saturday and God how I have missed it!

Not the MM, but my other vehicle just came out of storage, this weekend. There's still a few pockets of snow remaining on some lawns, but the roads are clear and dry... This winter couldn't end soon enough, for me! :cool:

It's kind of a bet, like when to put the snowblower away - you just know

Mine gets stored usually the 2nd week of November, until usually the first week or second week of april. However, in certian cases like last year when we got 28" of snow on the first week of April, I usually wait until a few GOOD rains wash all the SALT, grime, and debris off the road before I even think of driving it.

I wait till the snow's gone, and the sweepers come around and remove all the small rocks and sand from the roads - to minimize rock chips.

Should be a couple more weeks at least.

I 'll take mine out early May after the Mods & street cleaning or after the mods .
In the Peg we have potholes that can destroy or devour cars .

Put away just before Thanksgiving, out after April Fools. Salt and sand are the vetoers, though. If it's still salty and snowy, she stays put away until the temps are above 32 overnight for a week straight and there is rain washing away the salt.

So far, too much snow and ice. The MGM does the job...
