I've noticed that many STOCK marauders seem to vary in front ride height. For example my Marauder seems to have a larger gap between the tire and the wheel well compared to another marauder I parked next too this week. My car has 22,000 miles the other car had about 40,000. So my question is..What is the specs on the front ride height and why is mine different? (I wish it was lower in the front..I have to much of a gap)

Try putting more air in your tires!:2thumbs:

It will also improve mileage.

Maybe low on oil:nworthy:I'll be here all week
Alot of us have lowered ours by cutting 3/4 coil out of front spring or lowering springs
Please tip the waitress on the way out.

Age makes the springs sag...making it a little lower...

I cut 1 full coil from my front springs.

Cheapest mod possible..... FREE!

The car looks DRASTICALLY better (once I lowered the rear as well).

PS - It lowered the car 3/4" in the Front.

I believe the standard reference is pavement to wheel-well arch at the centerpoint.

I measured from the ground up the middle of the rim to the lip of the wheel well and it measured 29 inches. Does that seem correct? Remember my car is stock.

That's about where mine started before it was lowered.

is there a ride difference with one coil cut off?

Not that I could tell.... perhaps a wee bit "harsher". But face it.... the MM's stock ride quality is not "on air".

IMHO, my lowered Marauder rides better than either one of my P71s.

Lower the Marauder and get rid of that 4x4 look.

Normal.;)

Marauders always rode a bit harsher than typical panthers.

Drop Eibachs in and you will ride like a truck.
Ask me....

No you are not nuts. There will be variance from one car to the other just because it's an American production made car.

My car rode 3/4" lower on the driver's side than the passenger's side. I got several spare air bags from an MM of similar mileage and I swapped around until I got the car dead level. Some of the air springs inflated to a taller height than others, just due to deviation in the way they were manufactured.

I was showing some of the guys yesterday how my car's ass sits low now while parked, compared to the front because of my huge subs in the trunk. I think lowering the front a good inch would make it sit mean. :cool4:

Thank you...I feel better knowing im not the only one who sees this. Also thank you all for the comments! I appreciate it! Maybe this summer I will lower the front end!
