so my outer tie rod nut fell off today, where it connects to the hub and the nut is stripped.. does anyone happen to know what thread pattern it would be so when i goto buy a new nut tomorrow i can find it. thanks..

It's probably a good idea to replace the complete tie rod not just the nut.
Did you have someone work on the car recently?

yea i had the tie rod changed.. i think the arshole didnt tighten the bolt all the way.. the threads on the stud on the tie rod are fine though..

overtightened and stripped by a air wrench jockey... go right to the LM dealer and get a OEM assembly and install the whole thing to torque specs and of course you will need a front end alignment....

And on top of tightening it to spec...There should be a pin...So if the nut gets loose, you can still tighten it up. :rolleyes:
