Hello everyone,
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
What’s been your experiences with the best location(s) to splice into for gauge illumination for the Autometer pillar pods?
Also, can you get some connector ends or pigtails from FLM and make your own jumper\ adaptor so you don’t have to cut into existing wires?

Thanks,

Hardwire it in, solder and heat shrink tube is the only way to go when doing automotive wiring.

I tapped into the gauges down by the shifter to get the lighting power for my A-pillar gauges. I just ran the wires up under the dash, securing them along the way with zip ties so they'd stay secure and out of the way, and then up the a-pillar and to my gauges. It works well because the dash dimmer controls all of my gauges together.
As to how to make your connections: +1 for what fastblackmerc said above. Take your time and do a nice job. It doesn't pay to skimp.
