Orlando trip this weekend

I will be leaving Fort Myers Friday evening and going to Orange City (North of Orlando) for the weekend. Anyone in that general vicinity that wants to meet up for a beer, contact me 239-770-3630. Hope to meet somebody new.:beer:

Sunday I will be flying to Orlando for the DevConnections event at the Mariott Orlando World Center. When are you headed back to Fort Myers? Sunday we don't have anything planned as of yet. Won't have my car to show off but if you don't mind meeting up somewhere I would love to see the work you've done to yours.

If so, that might be a good place to meet up. If not, I should have some free time Saturday, and could possibly meet up and do a beer or two. I'll check around and try to give you an update here sometime tomorrow.

For those who may have an interest, there is a collectible car show this weekend in the downtown Historic District of Longwood. It is an annual event hosted by the Longwood Police Department. There will be about 75 vintage cars and various hot rod cars on display of all kinds and participants are the Mustang Club of Central Florida and the Celery City Cruisers of Sanford. There are trophies awarded and there will be a DJ there playing music and food. It should be a great time if you like old cars. The weather is forecasted to be perfect.
It is from 10 AM to 3 PM on Saturday April 19.
For further questions or if you have a car to enter you can call the City of Longwood police dept at 407-260-3400.

Anyone in the area tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM. A couple of us locals will be meeting BAD MERC at the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Sanford, which is at the intersection of I-4 and State Road 46.

Would like to see some more Marauders there.

There is an exotic car show in Celebration (Disney's City) on Sat and Sun.

Should be pretty killer.... I'll be there Sat morning. They have original TV show cars there like KITT and they have the Back to the Future Delorean (reason I'm going).

Not sure if I'll make that one this weekend, but sounds like fun. We'll be meeting BAD MERC for breakfast, then plan on running back to the local car show in Longwood. Just got home from a fantastic breakfast with Olde Kid and Uncle Buck - two really nice guys who have a serious passion for their Marauders. It was nice meeting all of you and we definitely will get together again next time I am in the area. Guys, I will make a thread Sunday evening about the stuff I used to make my car look new. Enjoy your weekend!

These were shot during mid day Florida sun/shadows, and most cars had the hood up, the trunk open, and some even had their doors open. It was a photo nightmare. Hope these look good.
