DaveSVT2000 and i went out for dinner last night. I took him for a ride in the MM and when we approached the red light, a 98 blazer was waiting there for me. i had the window down and heard him start getting his revs up. i didnt touch my gas at all. light turned green and i just put the gas about 3/4 of the way down until my car got into 2nd then mashed it.

i could have also said i only mashed it after i passed him. lol love the Marauder

I had a white mustang with exhaust and a ridiculous looking body kit on it line up next to me at a traffic light last night, I figured its go time so I shut everything down and clicked the O/D off. Well the light went green, I had a great launch and even chirped 2nd but the mustang never moved from the light. I instead looked like a tool launching hard from the light for no reason.

Derek (Freakstatus) and I went out for a short cruise last night. Had a Vette owner paranoid when we pulled in behind him and he couldn't shake us. Then I left him at a corner, swinging the MM ass-end around in a textbook powerslide....only to have the T/C kick in and leave me nearly stopped in the middle of the intersection. Damn you, Traction Control!!:eek:

ahhh... the 3 series. walloped a 323i the other day simply because i could.... i was leary about his speed, but it was a friend and i knew he wouldnt let up. shocking ly i beat him with absolutely no problem. i thought they were faster, especially because it was a standard.

Don't think you'll be walloping the new 3 series. Guy at work just traded his SRT-8 Cherokee for a new 335ci couple. AWD, TT V6 and 6 speed. It's faster than his Jeep. If you come across a new 135i, don't bother. Same driveline, just in a much, much smaller car = faster.

his responce was one i didn't expect...

after looking over the car and the rims, he says, "man that thing is loud! what is it!?"

my car isn't too loud. it has super 40's and CAI. thats it. but when it's at idel it is almost silent, it screams when you touch the gass. oh and if anyone has every been to New England before and seen a typical MA downtown, yeha my exhaust booms off the old brick buildings and what-not.

God, i just love this car!!

I had a couple of young fellows in a Subaru whatever pull up beside me downtown last summer. They were all grins and asking me to come on to the throttle again. Said that they loved the sound. At the next light, I did. They came up beside me again saying once more how cool the sound was. I was duly impressed with their level of sophistication, and my girlfriend was totally embarrassed that we can't go anywhere without things like this happening.
I love the funny stories, though. Maybe we should have a thread dedicated to our worst bonehead moves. They are funnier than the best classic jokes.

I took a new Impala SS the other day, I thought it would have put a better fight. The 350z sconut1 raced must have been modded. I got into it w/ one passed him when his speed limiter kicked in and had him by a fender untill then. A friends car.
