Copy cats.....

Swear I've seen the black over silver a million times now. There's even a couple cars in town (and one on Unique Whips) that copied the green pinstripes.

+1

Oh

We have been authorized to sell this 2003 Mercury Marauder that was part of a Seizure. After it was seized, it was then used by the department as a bait vehicle.(the law state's that departments can only keep and use seizures for 1 year then must be auctioned off to the highest bidder.)

Siezed, so that means first it was probably taken from a crack dealer, then it had the crap beaten out of it by the police.

Sounds like a good deal!

You think it's black over silver, or silver over black?

BTW, like yours better, Rich.

If anyone is serious about this, it is relatively near me. I could check it out, pm me if it needs a closer look.

It has to be black over Silver, the interior is light.

It would have looked better if the grill was also painted Black; anyone agree?

disagree, its some really F'd up flint seats.

Either that or whoever put the "white" leather on copied the stock style exactly right.

But imo its flint.

Look at the difference between the steering wheel, and the front seat, and the seatbelt buckle is white also.

I don't know, do you think the flash on the camera is doing that to the seats, the rear seatbelts are dark, and the front buckles are white, when you look at the rear seat, the backs of the front seats look darker, I'll recant, you are probably right.

I'd say it's light flint and the car is black with something other than silverbirch painted over the black. The bumpers don't match the body paint at all.

I don't think so, it would cost $5,000 to do a truly "Good" quality paint job, using top notch paint products, to bring that horrendousness back to stock appearing paint. That is a huge chunk out of the intial "savings" on that thing
