I had a 96 Saab 900SE and I had enough of the car, everything on it started failing at once and it was time to get rid of it and move on. After searching for a few weeks on craigslist I came up with my new ride.
1999 Ford Crown Vic LX. 85K miles on it for only $1900. The car on the outside has a bit of battle damage, and it could a good compound but the interior is pretty clean and it runs, drives and rides flawless.
Everything works in the car just the old lady who owned it before decided that ramming into things is better then avoiding them. The car was well maintained and its great til my MM is paid off then I can go and get something new.

Looks good! That's a good steal too. I have the opportunity to buy a CVPI from the auction for less than $500 :D. Not sure I want one with gas prices, although they get good mileage anyway.

BUY IT!!! You can turn the car over for a profit very easily. These cars are very popular and people are spending over $3K for a car with 150K miles on it.
The lady I bought it from moved to Manhattan and she didnt need a car anymore so thats the only reason why she sold it, not because it was a headache thats why I lucked out pricewise and the shape its in mechanically.

Good luck Paul. You'll enjoy the MM much more now. I drive an 02 CVPI all week long. Sometimes I leave the MM alone for two weeks. When I take that first ride after a long hiatis, yeehaa! :D
Congrats, and now I guess CrownVic.net looks pretty appealing now eh?
wow bet she never looked under the hood during the whole while she had it, and by the looks of it, liked to drive in dust storms.

Congrats! It looks like a nice DD
Although you are going to fix the front bumper, i mean that big chunk missing, wouldnt classify as a ram air scoop since the intake is on the other side :)

Actually, now that I see it (was at work before) that looks like my aunt's old one, exact same colors, except she has leather interior and digi dash. She got a mint low mileage '05 LX Sport CV, and she was going to give her old '99 to my cousin for free, he didn't want it, so she traded it in on it. I was so mad she didn't ask me! I would have took it with ease!
