Well, 4 years ago today my 2004 SB Marauder was born - 04/23/04. She has been a great car and treated me quite well over the last 2 1/2 years that I owned her.
The car was purchased on 08/11/04 by a 70+ year old couple. In the course of the car's first year it saw 5,600 miles and no winters. I purchased the car on 09/09/05 after my ex-wife found it on an internet search for me.
Thanks to some fellow Marauder owners willing to check the car out since it was in a different state I got the green light on the car's condition, called the delaership, placed a deposit, and flew out a couple weeks later. A MM.net member (only site at the time) was kind enough to pick me up at the Chicago, IL airport and drive me to Naperville, IL to pick the car up. He then proceed to go on the test ride with me and the car was basically like buying new from the showroom. Paid for it and he took me to dinner.
After that I got on the road to head back home and it has been a fun journey ever since. I truely believe this is one car I will keep for a long time.
