ADEL, the tires you wind up with will likely be around 26.8" dia. This will give you a Trac Cont warning (and related spark interupt)at 40 mph, simply turn off the TC switch once moving and not in need of TC. ABS is fine.

Of course, you could have a chip/reprogram to compensate for new tire dia.

The setup described here has a rolling ratio very close the stock setup. I would be surprised to hear this causes the traction control indicator to light but can't say for certain as I have a 300A.

news, and the most up to date concerning winter tires and wheels is in the thread that MMM2003 started that's been moved to the "Anouncements/News" forum. $500 for some of the best snow tires there are,(Michelin Arctic Alpine) as well as some nice looking cop-car-type black wheels. And that price includes mounting, balancing, and shipping. And you get a free DVD player, and there's no tax on the tire/wheel combo either. Nobody will beat this. I've heard of places charging double this price for similar packages which include these same tires. There's a pic of the wheels in that thread, and so far 10 guys from here have placed their order. That place will be only getting enough of these tires and wheels to complete 30 of these packages, and we need atleast 7 more people to call Mitch to place their order so that we can get the $500 price on this package which is an outstanding deal. Mitch told me that they will be getting the tires in about a week or two, and it's first come first serve. These are the only 30 sets of this tire/wheel package that the place will be getting for the rest of the year, so checkout the info provided by MMM2003 in that thread:) .

ADEL, last November I got my Marauder, just in time for winter(!) (live north of Toronto). As I did with my old 96 Impala SS (miss you), I got rims and snows for all for wheels. My guy found used 6-spoke alloy rims (say "Racing I" on them), and the tires are unidirectional Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 225/55R17 front and 235/55R17 rear (tho' these say M2). As far as traction control goes, it's one of the most useless options I've ever encountered. All it does is kill the power to the rear wheels; try to get moving in snow from a stop when that happens. Now it's a habit to turn the stupid TC off when I get in. Anyway, these tires were great in the snow.
P.S. Don't forget to rustproof.
