Are you representing these photos as reality? Especially on the Cobra, it appears you had your camera set to abstract the color of the car while making the background black and white. That's software at work!

I thought this forum was for photography.
I was using my cameras features (color accent) on a few of them and some I didnt (like the mystic cobra, and the side view mirror shot) and was hoping people would enjoy the fact that I am learning to use my camera fully, not just point and shoot. I also though some would enjoy the artistic nature of some of these pictures.

I did not realize this was going to turn into people *****ing that i photoshopped the pictures, or saying that I am trying to say the picture of my car in the grass (that is grey in the picture) is reality.

I am trying to show off some picture I took with my Cannon PowerShot SD630.

Ah, "Color Accent" -- My camera doesn't have that. That's a great effect. Maybe it's time I upgrade to a camera made this century!

I never heard any of those guys say anything about the SVT badge. They spent most of their time makin fun of the Neon.

To hell with what they think, you are learning to use your camera, (better than I use mine) and doing a good job, i liked the embossed "Cobra" best, keep playing and have fun, as I said, To hell with what they think.

A lot of folks just assume that to post pics like you did, they had to be altered in some post processing software. I'm not familiar with some brands, but I am with Canon. There are some amazing things that can be done as choices prior to shooting, or after the shot has been taken in the camera. It is smart to shoot the normal color shot, then try black and white, color accent, color swap, sepia, etc. and then save copies of those to your card. Trust me, every time I post a black and white, someone will always want to see how it looked in color.

I like to see people try different things, and yes, I believe this forum is perfect for showing us what you can do with your camera. Just don't be alarmed that some guys might not be current with the latest technology, or that they may not agree with you about what looks good.

Yes those camera effects are of the camera, not a program. My SD750 does the exact same things.


Good pictures though!!
